"Deimos" Documentation

The partner painting in the diptych, “Deimos” is to be represent Eros, while the prior work, "Phobos", is to represent Thanatos. The phrase “I swerve like flat wheels and impress like flat chests” is a phrase ripe with inuendo, highlighting an intense self-deprecation, insinuating critical internal faults and inadequacy both romantically and sexually. The characters at the base of the painting perhaps represent a scattered psyche or are maybe harbingers of madness
